5 Reasons to Become a Foster Family for the Franklin County Humane Society
1. Your decision to do so can literally save a life. Each week, we get calls from the Franklin County Animal Shelter telling us how many dogs are there whose time is up. When we are full at t...he adoption center, we regularly board incoming dogs at the Rocky Mount Pet Clinic. When they are out of room there, we have nowhere to house new dogs until we have placed others. When a dog can go into a foster home, the problem is solved. If they cannot, they may very well lose their life at the county shelter.
